Charly Caruso Joins ESPN, Super Show-Down Photo, Adam Page Update

Charly Caruso has been a featured performer on WWE programming for a number of months. Fans have typically been able to see her serve the role of a backstage interviewer on the Raw brand, but it now appears that the young broadcaster has officially joined ESPN. Charly announced on social media this week that she will be working for SportsCenter Updates on ESPN, as well as handling SportsCenter on Snapchat under her real name, Charly Arnolt. Although the news comes as a complete shock to most fans, Charly has assured everybody that she will continue to work for WWE in addition to her new gig at ESPN. Charly Arnolt…ESPN. WHAAAAAT!!! Been waiting my whole life to say those 4 letters! So yep, here I am—officially an ESPN employee! (No, I am NOT leaving WWE! That’s still my home and I am so happy there!) I’ll be doing a few things at ESPN from time to time for now, including SportsCenter updates and hosting the SportsCenter on Snapchat show. I’m still in disbelief. WWE + ESPN = KILLER COMBO! I am so incredible appreciative and fortunate for both of these wonderful opportunities! Check me out all day today and tomorrow doing SC updates! ?????????? @espn @wwe . . . . #espn #sportscenter #sports #football #anchor #host #basketball #news #wwe #nyc #dreamcometrue #bucketlist #goals #lifeiscrazy

WWE is in the process of going down under right now for their Super Show-Down event, which will be taking place in Melbourne, Australia in just a few more days. The event is expected to hold over 70,000 fans at the enormous Melbourne Cricket Ground stadium, and several huge matches have been booked for the show, including the main event match between Triple H and The Undertaker with Shawn Michaels and Kane appearing in their respective corners. Much like when WWE hosted their other mega events, WrestleMania 34 and the Greatest Royal Rumble earlier this year, WWE appears to be building an enormous stage and structure over the ring for the show. Photos of the construction were posted online earlier this week.

Fans of the Being the Elite YouTube series were intrigued when Adam Page hinted that Triple H tried to sign him to a WWE deal recently. It was later reported that Hangman Page was indeed offered a WWE contract not too long ago, but he turned down the deal in order to remain with his Bullet Club counterparts. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has updated the story by noting that Page has actually not declined the offer, but he is still considering all of his options and needs more time before making a decision. WWE is said to be seriously interested in signing Page and The Elite once they become free agents. The Elite members have stated that whenever they do make a decision pertaining to the next step in their careers, they will do so as a group.
