The original plan surrounding the Raw Women’s Championship had Bayley beating Charlotte for the first time at Wrestlemania 33. Bayley would then go on to defend the title in her hometown of San Jose, California at the Payback PPV on April 30.
Following the events on Raw, those plans were obviously nixed as Bayley captured the title last week. According to Dave Meltzer, the new plan for Wrestlemania will now see the Championship defended in a Fatal 4-Way involving Bayley, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Charlotte.
It has been rumoured for quite some time that the WWE plans on turning Sasha Banks heel in order to work a program with Bayley in the lead up to Summerslam. However, no word as to whether this is still the plan.
