Kane/Undertaker Mayor Fundraiser, Fastlane News, Huge Bryan News

Glenn Jacobs (better known as Kane on WWE television) is currently running for Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. It looks like Jacobs has managed to book himself and his brother, The Undertaker, for an upcoming fundraising event set to take place on March 1st. Unfortunately, tickets to see the Brothers of Destruction sold out rapidly. Tickets were being sold in the range of $50-$150, and Jacobs promised attendees who purchased tickets above  $60 the chance to attend a recording of the Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast at a later time. It is rare to see these two legendary wrestlers outside of WWE, but fans will have the chance to meet them both starting next month.

Tickets are now on sale. Get them while you can!https://t.co/GJuvzPJ8g5

The main event for the upcoming Smackdown-exclusive Fastlane pay-per-view had been set to be a Triple Threat match with AJ Styles defending his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. That was altered quite a bit when it was announced this week that Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin have been added to the match, thus making the main event a Fatal 5-Way match instead. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the match was always scheduled to be a Fatal 5-Way match, but original plans called for Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton to be involved in the match instead of Corbin and Ziggler. Orton has moved on to a feud with US Champion Bobby Roode, and WWE intends on holding off Styles vs. Nakamura until WrestleMania.

It has been common knowledge for a while now that Daniel Bryan’s time in WWE is very limited. The Smackdown General Manager has made it very clear that he will leave the company to continue his wrestling career if he does not get cleared by WWE doctors to return to the ring by the time that WrestleMania rolls around in April. According to a tweet sent out by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Bryan’s contract does not expire around the time of WrestleMania, but it looks more likely that his deal with the company won’t be up until November of this year. Keep in mind that WWE typically adds a 90-day no-compete clause when a wrestler leaves the company, so Bryan won’t be able to wrestle again until at least 2019 if he does decide to leave WWE.
