Big Show Update, Keith Lee & WALTER Wrestling at WWE Axxess

The Big Show has been wrestling for WWE for a number of years now, and he is currently one of the longest-tenured superstars on the active roster. The former WWE Champion has accomplished a lot over the course of his career, and prior to receiving an injury, he had been used by the company to put over new roster members such as Braun Strowman and Big Cass. After reports stating that his contract with WWE had expired with no news regarding his deal being renewed, some fans feared that “The World’s Largest Athlete” may be done with the company. Fortunately for fans of the Big Show, it has just been confirmed that this is absolutely not the case.

WWE will not be losing The Big Show anytime soon at at all. During an appearance which saw him ring the opening bell for the New York Stock Exchange, he revealed that the rumors of him retiring from the ring are completely untrue. He also stated that he re-signed with WWE back in January to a deal which will see him continue to stick around for several more years. WWE confirmed earlier today that Big Show will be competing in the Greatest Royal Rumble match on April 27th, and he will also be inducting Mark Henry into the Hall of Fame this Friday night. The Big Show will likely be back on WWE programming as soon as he has healed from his recent hip surgery.

It had previously been reported that independent wrestling sensations Keith Lee and WALTER had signed deals with WWE. Both men later denied that they would be signing with the company, but it looks like they will still be competing in a WWE ring very soon anyway. WWE just announced that both men will have a chance to face NXT’s Kassius Ohno at the Fan Axxess convention taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana this weekend. Several independent wrestlers have competed at Axxess in recent years, and in addition to Lee and WALTER, indy wrestlers Jason Kincaid and Zack Gibson have also been announced to compete at Fan Axxess later on this weekend.
