SCSU Wrestling unveils NCAA banner at Black/Red Classic

A large contingent of fans and followers were on hand to watch the St. Cloud State University wrestling team unveil its 2015 NCAA Division II championship at Halenbeck Hall on Friday, Nov. 6.

In a ceremony after the completion of competition in the annual Black/Red Classic intrasquad match, the NCAA team championship was unfurled with help from seniors Clint Poster and Jay Hildreath. The banner, which represents the first team national championship in school history in any sport, will soon be displayed in the rafters in Halenbeck Hall’s main gym.
