Bobby Fish suffers knee injury, update on Rey Mysterio

Bobby Fish suffered a knee injury at last night’s NXT house show in Indianapolis.

At this point there is no updated information available past the injury appeared to be serious last night.

Fish & Kyle O’Reilly were defending the NXT Tag Team titles against Heavy Machinery. Fish was standing on the middle rope in the corner and O’Reilly was thrown into him. Fish grabbed his knee when falling onto the apron. Referee Drake Wuertz immediately gave the “X” signal and medical personnel came from the back. They went right to the finish where Adam Cole distracted Otis Dozovic and O’Reilly rolled him up.

Cole and O’Reilly helped Fish to the back.

In other pro wrestling injury updates, Rey Mysterio Jr. is scheduled to be examined today for what was feared to be a torn biceps suffered in a Friday night match for Northeast Wrestling in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Montez Ford missed the last two NXT weekend shows due to what is believed to have been a mouth injury, perhaps related to a tooth issue. It was not believed to be too serious.
