mobanmarketYouth wrestlers will have the opportunity to train with one of the nation’s premier NCAA Division II programs this summer at the 2017 Huskies Wrestling Camps on the campus of St. Cloud State University.
The camps will take place from June 19-21, 2017 in the St. Cloud State wrestling room in Halenbeck Hall. There will be camps available for wrestlers in grades K-2nd, 3rd-6th and 7th-12th.
The High School Clinic (Grades 7th – 12th) is scheduled for June 19-21 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The clinic is only $60 for six hours of instruction.
The Youth Clinic offers two specialized sessions per age and grade. Grades K – 2nd is offered on June 19-21 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Grades 3rd – 6th will run on June 19-21 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The cost for the Youth Clinics is only $75 for nine hours of instructions. All camp participants receive a Huskies Wrestling t-shirt.

*Special Deal! There will be a $5 discount per individual if you register by Wednesday, May 31. In addition, there will be another $5 discount for individuals that register from groups of five or more from the same club or school.
Camp highlights will include, but not limited to: Takedowns, Defense and Counter Attacks, Top Position Technique, Bottom Position Technique, Drilling, Games and Live Wrestling. Learn these techniques from some of the best instructors the area has to offer. The camps coaching staff includes SCSU head coach Steve Costanzo and SCSU assistants Brady Wilson and Jay Hildreth.
The St. Cloud State University wrestling claimed NCAA Division II championships in 2015 and 2016, and the Huskies placed second at the NCAA championships in 2017. Under the leadership of Costanzo, SCSU has won six consecutive Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championships and it posted a 17-1, 8-0 NSIC record in 2016-17. The Huskies also won the NWCA Division II National Duals championship and the NCAA Division II Super 3 Regional in 2017.
