mobanmarketTampere, Finland – Mark Hall (Penn State and Apple Valley) repeated as Junior World Champion by pinning Isa Shapiev of Uzbekistan in the 74 kg Gold medal match. Mitch McKee (Minnesota and St. Michael-Albertville) was pinned by Abdula Akhmedov of Russia in the 60 kg Gold medal match.
Two-time Cadet World Champion Gable Steveson (Apple Valley) received his draw for tonight’s 120 kg competition. Steveson will face Khasanboy Rakhimov of Uzbekistan in the first round. The first round of compeition runs from 2:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. CT with medal matches starting tomorrow morning from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CT.
