Mahoney reportedly took a fall last week, affecting his health. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports from talking to Mahoney’s wife that Mahoney was watching TV on Tuesday evening when he became unresponsive. 911 was called attempting to revive him, but he was unresponsive and eventually pronounced dead.

Mahoney is the second former ECW star to die in the last two months. Axl Rotten died in February.

– A fundraiser has been launched to help pay for funeral costs and for Mahoney’s family following his death.
