WWE announced Tuesday a big WWE Title main event for the next Smackdown brand PPV.

New WWE World Hvt. champion A.J. Styles will defend the WWE Title against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a three-way match at the No Mercy PPV on October 9.

Ambrose is due a re-match after losing the title to Styles at the Backlash PPV on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Cena returned to Smackdown TV to begin a quest to match Ric Flair’s marketed World Title record.
