It was recently announced by The WWE The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins) will be opening up tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with their farewell address.
Last night’s WWE Fastlane would see The Shield defeat Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley in the main event. It was noted on commentary several times that this would be the final appearance for The Shield as Dean Ambrose has refused to re-sign with the company once his current contract expires next month. It is worth noting that The Shield is also advertised for some dark main events after tonight’s RAW. It was advertised locally that The Shield will be taking on Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley & Drew McIntyre on tonight’s RAW which is a rematch from last night’s Fastlane PPV.
Tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW will be emanating from The PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and it will also feature a face-off between Batista & WWE COO Triple H, plus a WWE Intercontinental Title Match between WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor & Bobby Lashley. WWE tweeted the following on the opening segment of tonight’s RAW:
