mobanmarketIt was recently announced by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) that the company’s top four wrestlers will be part of the opening day of their G1 Climax 29 Tournament on July 6th from The American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas. The wrestlers that are confirmed to be there for the first day of The G1 Climax 29 Tournament are IWGP Heavyweight Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada, IWGP Intercontinental Champion “The Golden Star” Kota Ibushi, Tetsuya Naito & “Switchblade” Jay White.
It was also announced by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) that The G1 Climax 29 Tournament entrants will be revealed at a later date. All four of these top-tier wrestlers that were announced were recently at The G1 Supercard Event in Madison Square Garden last Saturday night. During the event, Okada defeated White to become The New IWGP Heavyweight Champion & Ibushi defeated Naito to become The New IWGP Intercontinental Champion.
