Bret Hart Attacker Felt It Was “The Right Moment” For The Assault

This past Saturday night at The 2019 WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony, Bret “The Hitman” Hart was attacked by 26-year-old Zachary Madsen of Lincoln, Nebraska during The Hart Foundation’s induction speech. As soon as Madsen attacked “The Hitman,” he was quickly stopped by a group of wrestlers, with several of them even getting physical.
During his recent court appearance, Madsen reportedly told police that “it was the right moment” to attack Hart.
“I just felt like it was the right moment,” Zachary Madsen told police, according to prosecutors in court, via The New York Post.

At the recent hearing, a bail of $1500 was reportedly set for Madsen. The judge also issued orders of protection barring Madsen from approaching Hart & WWE security guard, Thaddeus Jones.
As previously reported, Madsen has had previously run-ins with the law before as he was reportedly arrested back on December 28th, 2018 for violation of a protection order. He was arrested again a week later for stalking on January 5th of this year.
