Adam Cole and Matt Riddle’s NXT Championship match will kick off tonight’s NXT. That announcement was made by Cathy Kelley on the premiere edition of WWE’s The Bump.
Riddle was set up as the number one contender to Cole’s title by defeating Killian Dain in a street fight last week.
Two other title matches are also set for tonight’s NXT. Shayna Baszler will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Candice LeRae, and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) will challenge for Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish’s NXT Tag Team titles.

Johnny Gargano vs. Shane Thorne and an appearance by Velveteen Dream have been announced for tonight’s NXT as well. The episode will have “limited commercial interruption.”
Starting tonight, NXT will air live on the USA Network on Wednesdays for its full two hours. It will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time, with NXT also listed as having a 15-minute overrun tonight.
Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara will open tonight’s AEW Dynamite premiere on TNT.
