Son’s Body Lying In Saudi Arabia For Over 4 Months, Father Tweets To Sushma Swaraj For Help

Mohammad Jalaluddin, 50, a businessman in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday tweeted to Union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to help him bring back the body of his son, which has been lying in Saudi Arabia for more than four months.

Mohammad Amir, 23, had gone to Dammam to work in a hotel in 2016 but was allegedly murdered by his roommate, Abid, a native of Gonda, on August 30, 2017. Abid is under arrest there.

His family back in India has been worried and has written several letters to the ministry of external affairs and diplomatic quarters in Saudi Arabia in the past four months but they are yet to get any help.
