Losing your beloved pet can be crushing, but the city’s first government-run crematorium for dogs, now coming up in Dwarka, will make final farewells less stressful.
The crematorium, which will be ready by March 2019, is part of the 3.5-acre multi-purpose ‘dog complex’ being built in Sector 29, Dwarka. It will have an electric furnace that can cremate 50kg per hour, besides an ash room, lockers and a prayer room takes around an hour to completely dispose of a dog’s body.
