mobanmarketStudents from Punjab’s Lovely Professional University (LPU) have developed a solar-powered driverless smart bus. The vehicle was displayed at the 106th edition of the Indian Science Congress (ISC).
The completely pollution-free bus has been priced at Rs 6 lakh. It uses only renewable energy in the form of electric motor and solar power for propulsion, reported India Today.
The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jalandhar.
