CES Just Banned A Sex Toy For Women It Awarded Earlier Because It’s ‘Immoral’ & ‘Obscene’

A sex toy for women created a storm at the annual gadget nerd-fest, Consumer Electronics Show. Well, hold on. It wasn’t for the right reasons. Of course, no one minds Amazon Echo that only communicates in expletives, or pays the slightest attention to the attendees travelling from the conference site to a brothel to watch VR porn being controlled by an Amazon Echo speaker.

But a technologically-advanced dildo did create quite a stir.

An entrepreneur was banned from showcasing her product at CES, Vegas. It was branded “immoral and obscene” by a CES chief.

Of course, the developers of the female-focused sex toy alleged gender bias.

Interestingly, the Osépersonal massager from company Lora DiCarlo was initially selected as the winner of the CES 2019 Innovation Awards in the robotics and drone product category. A month after selecting the sex toy as the winner in its category, CES rescinded the award and then banned the company from displaying the product at the event.
