mobanmarketPatna: This is a daylight robbery of a different kind and with a different mission. A group of criminals stole a motorbike to compensate for an inflated hotel bill shortly after they had a grand chicken party at a roadside hotel in Bihar.

Police said four miscreants visited a roadside hotel in northern Bihar’s Madhubani district over the weekend and had a grand chicken party there. Reports said the miscreants ate chicken biryani and chicken kebab among other dishes during their hour-long stay at the hotel for which they had to foot a heavy bill.

However, right at the hotel they hit upon a plan to compensate for the heavy hotel bill. Police said soon after coming out from the hotel, the miscreants chased a biker, took his brand new bike at gun-point and fled the scene, in a bid to sell the vehicle for money.

The robbed biker soon registered a complaint with the local police who swung into action and arrested two of the four miscreants fleeing with the bike while the other two fled the scene.

During their interrogation, they revealed the reason behind the stealing.

“The arrested miscreants told us that they had to foot a heavy bill for having chicken party at a roadside hotel and hence they decided to loot the bike to compensate for the money spent on paying the hotel bill,” local deputy superintendent of police Amit Sharan told the media on Sunday.

He said all the four criminals are new entrants to the crime and are novices. He added the police have identified the remaining two miscreants also and raids were on to nab them as well.
