Tinder meets fashion: A new mobile shopping app, which aims to streamline
and simplify the ordeal of shopping online for the perfect outfit via
mobile has just launched. Dubbed ‘The Edit,’ the app combines a “Tinder”
style interface with a universal shopping basket to make shopping for
numerous brands easy as well as secure.
The new app, available for free on iPhone and Android, gives its users the
freedom to view over 70,000 products from over 200 UK high street and
designer labels and allows them to make one single, simple and secure
order. Unveiled during London Fashion Week, during an collaboration with
Charli Cohen, show viewers were invited to shop the catwalk collection live
and exclusively through the app.
The mobile app, which has been developed and is owned by Bijou is part of
the Blenheim Chalcot Group. Co-founder of the firm, Charles Mindenhall
said: “Smartphones have simplified and streamlined the way people organise
themselves, learn, play and socialise. It’s time customers were given the
same experience when they shop.”
