Design Museum contemporary talks

Coinciding with the exhibition Super Contemporary, the Design Museum is hosing a series of summer talks and events in association with Beefeater 24. A selection of London’s leading design figures including Paul Smith, Ron Arad and Neville Brody discuss the impact that London has had on their work, and how they in turn have influenced the city that they work in.

Debates, late night openings and a city bus tour are some of the events during Super Contemporary. On October 2nd, Paul Smith will host his talk. Paul Smith has built his playful British label with great business sense. He’s set up his first shop with wife Pauline Denyer in 1970 – he’s been knighted, had his own exhibition and owns 230 stores worldwide.

Super Contemporary is the spirit of London design, past, present and future. This exhibition celebrates and examines the creative magnetism of London and it’s enduring reputation for design.
