Clothes Show Live 20th year

With a 6500 seated Fashion Theatre, the Clothes Show Live is one of the largest style showcases in world. From 5-10th December, 500 leading fashion and beauty brands will celebrate the Show’s 20th anniversary. Returning to the NEC in Birmingham, the Clothes Show Live offers visitors an unique fashion experience under one roof. Fashionista’s will have the change to enjoy a catwalk show featuring fashion, dance performances and special guest appearances from style icons and famous faces. After shopping at selected high-street shops and boutiques, visitors can head to the Wellbeing Zone hosted in association with Zest Magazine for some pampering followed by a well-deserved cocktail in the bar.

The event will also host the Clothes Show Live Design Awards presenting new and emerging talent. Young artists are giving the opportunity to be incorporated in the Clothes Show Live materials for 2009, and budding accessories designers might see one of their bag designs come to life as a limited edition Fiorelli bag to be sold in stores across the country. The Young Fashion Photographer of the Year is supported by Nikon and will grant access to a placement with one of the country’s top photographers, and the winner of the Young Designer of the Year will showcase their designs live on the Clothes Show Live catwalk, as well as win a placement with a top British Designer. The prizes are accompanied by prize money awarded to individuals, schools, colleges and universities as part of the show’s platform for new talent.
