The Saturday Night Live star and Emmy Awards co-host kicked off the evening with his girlfriend’s help, and they looked so in love, you guys. Scarlett Johansson walked alongside him as they made their Emmys debut on the gold carpet for Monday’s show, with Johansson wearing Balmain and Nikos Koulis jewelry.

The two have known each other since 2006, when Jost was a first-year SNL writer, and Johansson had her first hosting gig, Jost told Entertainment Tonight in September 2017.

“So, we’ve kind of known each other since then … She’s the best,” he continued. “She’s pretty cool … It’s hard to have a lot of complaints, she’s pretty awesome.”
